“90 Day”: Sarper Concocts a Grand Plan When His Visa Is Finally Approved but He Doesn't Want to Move to U.S. with Shekinah
"I think it’s a long shot," Sarper's cousin Füsun said after learning about his plan to try and convince Shekinah not to move forward with the K-1 visa and remain in Turkey
Sarper’s K-1 visa application has been approved by the United States, but now he has cold feet — and has hatched a plan in hopes of keeping Shekinah in Turkey with him!
On the Nov. 4 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Sarper learned that his K-1 visa application had been approved by the United States from sensually-dressed Shekinah, who donned a sexy outfit and Sarper’s favorite wig to make the big announcement.
“I know that I usually come out dressed sexy for you, and I have a whip or handcuffs,” Shekinah began. “Today, I have my phone instead.”
But it wasn’t to record a sex tape, as Sarper had guessed. It was an email confirming Sarper had been approved for his visa.
“It’s such a big deal, babe!” Shekinah exclaimed while hugging a less-than-enthusiastic Sarper.
His face dropped as they embraced. In a confessional, Sarper admitted, “I did my best not to show that I’m not excited too much with that news because she was so excited. I don’t want to make her upset.”
So Sarper concocted a plan: ask Shekinah to marry him in Turkey in hopes she will live with him there, rather than move forward with the K-1 visa.
The proposal would include a traditional Turkish engagement ceremony, which Sarper hoped would give Shekinah a reason to remain in Turkey with him.
But Sarper’s cousin Füsun was skeptical of Sarper’s grand plan, which he revealed to her while shopping for an outfit to wear to the proposal.
“I think it’s a long shot,” Füsun said in a confessional. “I’m not sure about how she feels, obviously. But I don’t think that she is going to change her mind because of this proposing ceremony, and everything.”
Still, Sarper believed his plan could convince Shekinah to change her plans. He admittedly “always” had it in his mind that he and Shekinah would live in Turkey.
“I am totally loyal to her, and want to make her happy here,” said Sarper after claiming he “never” wanted the American dream. “I don’t know what else to do.”
He added, “I mean, I don’t want to go with her to [the] U.S. so this is my last chance to convince her.”
