Yahoo Lifestyle 7Up Fans are Divided Over the Brand's 'Refreshing' New Flavor: 'This Isn’t Fair'
There’s no denying the fact that we’ve all been patiently waiting for warmer weather to arrive. And with the way our favorite snack and beverage brands have been teasing new seasonal flavors, it’s hard not to get excited about the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
This week, two of our favorite online snack content creators came across an especially tropical nugget of information by way of legendary soda brand 7UP. The news, which was shared to Instagram by both @markie_devo and @snackbetch, quickly stirred up thousands of likes in only 24 hours and sent fans looking for more information immediately.

“Hey Siri..play me some Lana Del Rey Summertime Sadness,” the online duo captioned their collaborative post. “7UP has a new limited edition Endless Summer Flavor,” the duo continued, “Watermelon & Strawberry.”

Now before you let yourself get all excited about this release, according to sources online, the new summer-ready flavor will be a Kroger exclusive. Sorry to disappoint those who don’t have a Kroger grocery store within their vicinity, but a road trip just might be in order for the truly dedicated individuals of the bunch. The good news? 7UP Watermelon & Strawberry will be available in cans of both regular and zero-sugar varieties.
“Love how they always accommodate us keto and low carb folks and do zero-sugar,” one happy fan wrote while another added, “These are perfect summer flavors!”
As of right now, April 7 is the speculated release date for the Endless Summer product line, which can be expected to be found in pink cans packaged inside of a tropical blue box. And as we mentioned before, this release will be available exclusively at Kroger Family of Stores locations.
While that news certainly takes the wind out of the sails for many, there is a silver lining we can all look to. If this launch goes well, and fans can harness the influence of the internet to their advantage, maybe we’ll see further availability down the line. Anything is possible these days with the internet and a dedicated group of fans on your side!
