David Burgher of the Burgher Ray Ranch Group at Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.
Dubbed Willow Wood Horse Farm, the three-bedroom residence sits on over 9.7 acres in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Local architect Lou Simmons of NeatBuilt designed the main residence and its equestrian facilities along with Bob Sullivan of Sullivan Design & Construction. Positioned at the highest point of the property and built with an insulated concrete that’s energy efficient and durable, the striking two-story spread spans 4,353 square feet alongside an 80-foot-long saltwater pool.

A cobblestone driveway leads to the entrance, where recessed lighting glows on an expansive koi fish pond ahead of the glass front door. The farm’s rolling acreage and an expansive barn can be seen from the foyer and are even more compelling from the great room, where a backlit entertainment center crafted from quarter-sawn walnut wood matches the nearby kitchen island. Flanked by a couple of dining spots, the kitchen is nicely outfitted with an array of sleek Gaggenau appliances like a steam convection oven and a glass cooktop. A butler’s pantry adds convenience and flexibility for pretty large meals, while humongous floor-to-ceiling glass panels slide open to link the room to a 3,000-square-foot terrace and the swimming pool.
