'My 600-Lb Life' Star Krystal Armintor Now: An Update on Her Weight Loss Journey

On Jan. 8, 2025, TLC viewers were introduced to Kystal Armintor on My 600-Lb Life.  But how is she doing now?

Armintor, 36, of Pasadena, Texas, weighed more than 620 pounds at her heaviest. Toward the beginning of her My 600-Lb Life episode, she traveled to Houston, Texas, to seek help from bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (known as Dr. Now).

Krystal Armintor lost 181 pounds in My 600-Lb Life Season 13, Episode 2

Armintor worked hard before that first appointment with Dr. Now to get down to 592 pounds. But her BMI was still at a staggering 101—"among the highest BMI we see," according to the bariatric surgeon.

After proving to Dr. Now that she was serious about making major lifestyle changes, Armintor qualified for weight loss surgery. She continued to lose weight after the gastric sleeve procedure, dropping an impressive 181 pounds as of her last weigh-in on the show.

How is Krystal Armintor from My 600-Lb Life doing now?

After appearing on My 600-Lb Life, Armintor has remained active on her Facebook account. She regularly shares photos of healthy recipes, outings with family and friends and more.

Occasionally, Armintor has posted photos of herself—and she has clearly continued progressing in her weight loss journey.

One of Armintor's most recent social media updates was a car selfie. In the snap, she rocked a red top with a plunging neckline and matching lipstick, appearing to have slimmed down even more from her time on the reality show.
