Jacky Rodgers lost 153 pounds on My 600-Lb Life Season 13, Episode 5.
When she first weighed in at Dr. Now's office, Rodgers tipped the scale at 709 pounds. He gave her a strict diet and exercise regimen to follow and a goal of losing 70 pounds over the next two months.
At her next weigh-in, Rodgers was down to 689 pounds—a 20-pound loss. She dropped another 20 pounds by her next weigh-in, four months into her journey.
"I don't understand why I didn't lose more," Rodgers said, explaining that she cut her portion sizes and has been exercising. "I'm disappointed in myself, and I'm worried about what Dr. Now is going to think."
"We are giving you the help we can, but the changes are up to you," Dr. Now told her.

Unfortunately, Rodgers gained weight by her next appointment with the bariatric surgeon—seven months into working with Dr. Now—weighing in at 686 pounds.
She pointed to depression and her father's death anniversary as reasons for failing to make progress.
Still, Dr. Now gave her one more chance. Rodgers met with psychologist Dr. Matthew Paradise to speak about her childhood trauma, which included abuse at the hands of her father, her mother struggling with alcoholism and the deaths of both of her parents.
Nine months into working with Dr. Now, Rodgers turned a corner after weighing in at 623 pounds.
The bariatric surgeon approved her for weight loss surgery on the condition that Rodgers was under 600 pounds in two months, and she was successful.
After her surgery, Rodgers weighed 556 pounds, bringing her total weight loss to 153 pounds over the course of 12 months.
