Whether you're into pastels, egg-dyed centerpieces or bunny-shaped decor, Easter decorating is just around the corner, and this year's trends are about embracing your creativity for a whimsical, colorful spring feel — all with affordable materials.
If there's one go-to store for budget-friendly decor and craft supplies, it's Dollar Tree. Unsurprisingly, lots of 2025's Easter decorating trends can be recreated using products from the popular discount store. We rounded up our favorite projects and decorating trends along with the materials to help you DIY them in no time.
1. Baby Blue Decor
Pastels are always an Easter decorating staple, but this year, baby blue is everywhere. DIYers are using baby blue bunnies, flowers and baskets to create colorful tablescapes around the house. Chelsee Hood of The House of Hood Blog even incorporates blue bows and planters in her home for added Easter cheer.
While you might not be able to find this exact setup at Dollar Tree, the store sells lots of baby blue decorations that can help you get involved in the trend. Try out their blue metal bunnies or bunny pillows at home to get started.
2. DIY Egg Trees
Why only decorate the tree for Christmas? Crafters are loving the DIY egg tree trend for a number of reasons. The materials are affordable, the steps are easy to follow and most importantly, they're stunning.
All you need to recreate the trend is a foam cone, decorative eggs and hot glue. If you want to take it to the next level, try adding a natural moss in between the egg cracks using hot glue and a pencil to poke in the strands.
3. Bunny Wreaths
Transform pool noodles into bunnies with this quick DIY. Tape one noodle to form a circular head. Then, use wire to shape two more noodles into ears. Attach the ears to the head with more wire to form your bunny face.
Decorate your noodle bunny wreath with flowers (faux or real!) for an Easter decoration everyone will love. Hang it on the wall or even use it as a centerpiece for Easter brunch.
4. Flocked Bunnies
TikTok users and DIYers are adorning their flocked bunnies with bows, flowers and more to add personality and charm to the classic Easter decoration.
Create adorable flower crowns and ribbon bow ties like this TikTok user does, or dress up your bunnies in your favorite pastel fabrics. The best part? They couldn't be more affordable. Flocked bunnies are just $3 at Dollar Tree, and artificial flowers are just $1.25.
5. Produce Centerpieces
Recycle your leftover takeout containers for this all-natural Easter DIY. This TikTok user placed a container filled with water inside a vase, leaving some room on each side, and then threw in a few sliced lemons to fill the space.
Add some yellow tulips (or any flower of your choice) and pair your vibrant floral centerpiece with a decorative bunny. To make the project even more budget-friendly, opt for artificial flowers.
6. Easter Lollipop Baskets
Crafters are taking the traditional Easter basket concept up a notch this year with ones that resemble lollipops. Fill up a jumbo egg or large bowl with your favorite treats, candy and toys and attach it to a "stick," or in this case, a wooden dowel or bubble wand.
If you're using a large bowl as your basket, you'll need another of the same size to tape on top like this crafter does. If you're using a jumbo egg, simply fill it up, close it and glue it to whatever material you choose as your stick.
