Christmas party season is officially here, which can mean only one thing; hours on your feet, making small talk with colleagues, and worrying about what to wear. But you don’t have to put yourself through the wringer to be stylish; here’s how to look great and make it to the end of the night without sore feet and eyes.

1. Choose the right shoes

Flat shoes are no longer something to save for chilled weekends at home. Flats are back – and who wouldn’t want to spend their Christmas party padding around in soft, chunky soles rather than spindly high heels? Go for chunky flatforms, fisherman sandals, padded straps, or even a crisp white leather loafer. Cool, comfy, and zero blisters. Now, that’s something to celebrate.

2. Wear comfy contact lenses

Ending the night with sore, itchy eyes because it feels as though your contacts are drying up doesn’t look or feel good. Precision1™️ and Precision1™️ for Astigmatism Contact Lenses are made with exclusive SMARTSURFACE® Technology, which keeps moisture on the lens surface. This gives you precise vision with extra comfort, so your eyes stay fresh, clear and comfortable all night. And, because you can wear them for 16 hours straight, it leaves you free to party for as long as you like.

3. Pack light

Lugging a huge handbag around a Christmas party is cumbersome and uncomfortable. This year, pack light with a bag that’s easy to fit under your arm, or comfortable to have strapped across your body. Don’t be tempted to carry around more than you need. Christmas party essentials should include your phone, keys, lipgloss and, if you wear contacts, a small individual blister pack of Precision1™️ and Precision1™️ for Astigmatism Contact Lenses. These daily disposable lenses are easy to pack, easy to wear, and great to have on hand.

4. Wear layers

There’s nothing worse than starting a party in the afternoon sun, only to be freezing by the end of the night because you’re still in nothing but a strappy dress. Planning ahead and wearing layers is the way to go. An oversized jacket is chic, and will cover up bare shoulders as the temperatures cool down. Wear it draped over your shoulders when you arrive, take it off for afternoon festivities, then wrap it round you in the evening.

5. Make a statement

If small talk is not your idea of fun, make things easy for yourself by pre-planning a topic of discussion you feel comfortable with. Statement jewellery is guaranteed to prompt comments, compliments and get people talking. Curate your ears with cuffs, hoops and earring stacks, mix chunky chains and slender bangles on your wrist, and don’t be afraid to mix metals and colours.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

Precision1 and Precision1 for Astigmatism Contact Lenses are daily disposable contact lenses intended for on-eye use in persons who need vision correction as determined and fitted by an eye care professional. Contact lenses should not be worn in conjunction with certain health or environmental conditions. Consult an eye care professional specifically regarding these or other conditions.
