$4.99 Aldi wine wins gold medal at top wine show

The German retailer scooped an impressive 16 gongs altogether at the event, including the Trophy for Best Dry White (Open Class) for its $7.99 bottle of A.C. Byrne Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc Semillon.

Aldi's $17.99 Blackstone Paddock Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 was a triple-threat, claiming Best Red Wine of Show, Best Cabernet Sauvignon and Champion of Show (Open Class).
