This $25 Million Lake Tahoe Lodge Is the Ultimate Year-Round Mountain Retreat

The Lake Tahoe area, straddling the border of Nevada and California, is more than just a preeminent ski spot; it’s a year-round alpine destination for outdoor pursuits, from hiking and biking to boating and golf.

Just a few miles from Truckee, which anchors the California side of the crystalline lake, is Martis Camp, a low-key and high-luxury residential resort community spanning 2,177 pristine acres. Founded in 2006, Martis Camp was designed for four seasons of recreation and includes an acclaimed 18-hole Tom Fazio golf course, private ski access to the Northstar California Resort, tennis courts, and a concert and festival venue hosting world-renowned artists and musicians. There are about 670 homesites that host custom-built residences in a variety of architectural styles. The crown jewel, and one of its newer homes, is Martis Camp Home 41, which recently came for sale at $25 million, making it one of the most expensive properties to ever come to market within the coveted community. The property is available through Kim Kennedy, the sales executive at Martis Camp Realty.
