25 AI Fails That Were More “Dumbass” Than "Future Human Overlord"

Look, I think we all know the day is coming when robots take over the world and enslave or exterminate us all. But for the time being, they're still dumb as shit.

And right now, there may be no bigger robot dumbass than AI. Seriously — here are 25 times AI was NOT up to the task:

1.Who knew WWII raged into the '90s?

2.This AI says "Thanks for pointing that out!" You mean pointing out that you're a freaking robot moron?

3.And this AI is making up absolutely wild claims:

81 years old? Nope. Try 48, AI.

6.And it was way too easy to trick "Carolyn" on this dating app into revealing they were an AI bot.

7.This AI doesn't seem quite ready to be anyone's personal assistant.

8.This dumbass AI couldn't tell an obvious online joke wasn't real.

9.And this AI doesn't know the freaking date, when they really should if they're going to be doing this job.

10.This AI seems programmed to encourage people to buy new computers...which isn't surprising considering who programmed it.

11.This AI decided, for some reason, that this person should sign off their email using the Swedish word for "Thanks."

12.And this mouth-breathing AI thinks that the Declaration of Independence was AI generated (I know Benjamin Franklin was a genius inventor and all, but I don't think he'd cracked AI just yet).

13.This AI made an image of a prospective new park NO ONE will want to visit.

14.This AI seems as confused by math as the earlier one.

15.And this AI can be manipulated easier than a toddler.

16.This AI doesn't even know its own name.

17.This AI needs to be asked, "WHAT DOCTORS?!?!"

18.And this AI was doing OK until it decided to provide some examples.

19.Making this one even more infuriating? Physics doesn't start with a "p" and end with "is."

20.While it's possible the geologists from Berkeley were really, really high when they said this, I'm going to go with the easiest explanation — AI is dumb as...rocks.
