The 2019 MTV VMAs red carpet featured an array of statement looks, but this one definitely had some onlookers doing a double take.

Musician Mariahlynn turned heads when she arrived at Prudential Center in New Jersey on Monday wearing a very revealing sheer black dress, that perhaps exposed more than intended.

The 29-year-old’s long-sleeved frock featured see-through fabric across her bust, bodice and sleeves, but even strategically placed feathers failed to prevent a nip slip of sorts on the red carpet.

It seems the Love & Hip Hop: New York star didn’t let the wardrobe malfunction faze her, as she posed up a storm for photographers at the big awards event.

She teamed her risque dress with a pair of matching black strappy heels, and a gold chain that certainly didn’t distract from her eye-catching frock.

Meanwhile Mariahlynn wasn’t the only one turning heads on the red carpet, as other stars followed suit in terms of the naked dress trend that’s swept the fashion industry as of late.

Musian Jazzy Amra rocked up in a see-through black gown that left little to the imagination.

Her floor-length number featured thigh-high slits and exposed her black underwear thanks to the sheer mesh fabric.
