19 Friendsgiving Ideas For People Who Want To Celebrate But Are Too Lazy To Cook A Whole Meal

Thanksgiving is almost here, but first comes Friendsgiving — just another fun excuse to gather with your chosen family. I recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to share their best Friendsgiving ideas when you don't want to cook a whole meal. Here are their tips, along with some of my own:

1.To start, plan a Thanksgiving-themed movie marathon with all the snack bar staples.

13."My slightly nerdy, off-kilter friend group gets together to play a Dungeons & Dragons one-shot. We take turns every year playing Dungeon Master, and it usually goes off the rails early and lasts well into the night or early morning. It's the only time we can all play together simultaneously, so it's awesome. We get a lot of eye rolls, but who cares, it's our tradition going back well over 20 years. We just all bring potluck dishes and have fun."
