1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton typically fills her Instagram grid with weight loss tips and updates on her personal health journey. But recently, she used the social media platform to announce a heartbreaking family loss.
On Sunday, Feb. 9, the TLC personality took to Instagram to share that her mother's longtime companion, a dog named Baby Girl, died.
"My mom’s beloved Baby Girl passed away the other day," Tammy revealed alongside a photo of her parent with the canine. "She has given My mom so much joy and companionship over the last 20 years. That’s not a typo. 20 years baby Girl has been with my momma."
The reality star, 38, concluded with a request for her followers, writing, "Please whispers a prayer for her and our family. The devil surely has been busy. #furbaby #rainbowbrige."

In the comments, Instagram users flooded Tammy with words of support.
