Miley Cyrus Dishes on Aussie Love

They say love is blind, so how did Miley Cyrus, 17, know that Australian actor and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was the one for her?

"I think when you're trying to play it cool and you're like, 'Oh, I won't text back for like the next hour,' that's when you know it's more serious," Cyrus revealed at a recent press conference for her new film The Last Song.

"You have no idea how many times I was like, 'Oh he called. I'm not going to call back tomorrow.' When it gets confusing and you're over thinking it, you must really like someone."

Cyrus, who connected with Hemsworth on the set of the new teen drama, was at first coy to talk about the romance. But the couple's chemistry was obvious, and by November last year the two were often snapped with their arms around each other.

"I've never gotten along with someone so well," the singer and actress revealed in an interview with Seventeen magazine at the time.

"I was a little anxious about making this movie; I wanted everything to be perfect. To go on set and feel insecure was a totally new element for me. But he [Hemsworth] felt the same way. He admitted his insecurities, and it was really nice to have someone who understands me for once."

And while the two are clearly in a good place, insiders confirm they're not planning a wedding just yet.

"Miley's not engaged," her rep announced in January in response to photos of the Hannah Montana star sporting a dazzling ring on her left hand.
