Offspring star Asher Keddie is pregnant!

Holding hands with husband Vincent Fantauzzo as she arrived at the GQ Awards, a glowing Keddie showed off a prominent baby bump in a black form-fitting gown, confirming news she's expecting her first child.

Excited about motherhood, Keddie said the couple are 'thrilled and excited' about the prospect of becoming parents: “We’re thrilled. We’re really excited and can’t wait ... I just feel good now," the actress told news.com on the red carpet.

“We’re just so focused on this at the moment that I don’t know what the future holds for me other than what we’re doing at the moment and celebrating it,” she added.

A spokeswoman for the pair also confirmed the happy news: “Asher and Vincent are thrilled to share they are expecting their first child together,” she said. “Asher is absolutely glowing.”

Even better? So far, pregnancy has been kind to Keddie: "I’m not big on cravings but anything dairy for some reason. I want lots of cheese and lots of pistachios,” she added of her pregnancy diet. “I’ve had to do a few midnight runs,” her husband chipped in.

After meeting through mutual friend, celebrity chef Matt Moran, Keddie began dating Fantauzzo in 2012, after splitting from her husband of five years, Jay Bowen.

This baby will be Fantauzzo’s second child. He has a four-year-old son, Luca, from a previous relationship, who featured in his portrait All That’s Good In Me, which took out the Archibald Prize earlier this year.

During her Logie acceptance speech in April 2013, Keddie gushed about finding a family with Fantauzzo and Luca: “As if life couldn’t get any sweeter thanks to the two guys in my life, Vincent and Luca ... oh how lucky I am. I was very happy with where I was professionally and it just makes all the world of difference when you have a wonderful family around you, the people you are meant to be with.’"
