It's official - Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell are married!

After saying ‘I do’ in an "intimate" ceremony in New Zealand surrounded by family and close friends, where same-sex marriage is recognised, the newlyweds flew back to Melbourne for a celebratory dinner party with 30 friends at Crown.

“It was so magical and so beautiful. It was actually quite incredible," Campbell, 39, said in a new interview.

Earlier this morning, the pair spoke to Kyle and Jackie O on Kiis FM, where they revealed their highlights from the intimate wedding: “That was the best part about it, we got to share it with just the closest people that we wanted there,” adding that it’s taken them “a good week to recover” from the Melbourne bash.

In true Kyle Sandilands form, Kyle asked the newlyweds if they consummated the marriage on their wedding night, asking: “Most people don’t even have sex on their wedding night, how did you guys go?”

Callea joked: “Oh, at least three times.”

The couple have also been prolific on social media, thanking fans for their well wishes after sharing their news alongside a sweet candid from their wedding day:

It's not the first time the couple have used social media for a big announcement. Earlier this year Callea and Campbell used Twitter to spread news about their long-awaited engagement.

The celebrity couple, who have been together for seven years, have long maintained their plans to wed in New Zealand in an "intimate" ceremony.

“It will be intimate but exciting and a lot of fun," Callea revealed earlier this year about couple's pending nuptials.

“We don’t put boring parties together.”
