• Play DJ

Music has been scientifically proven to help keep you motivated and make you move faster and longer. An MP3 player (such as an iPod) allows you to be your own DJ—pumping out all the tunes you know will keep you moving. (Hint: For a 30-minute workout, cue up 9 to 10 songs.) If you don't have a portable music player, consider investing in one as a reward for exercising.
