Rove McManus bags a gig on Jay Leno show

It’s happy news at last for LA-based Aussie couple Rove McManus and his wife Tasma Walton.

New Idea can exclusively reveal that the 37-year-old star has been signed up for a regular gig on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, which looks set to make him a household name in the US.

According to a senior source at the program, Rove’s new appointment is sure to put him at the top of his game. The hot job follows news Rove’s also landed his own show, Rove LA, which will screen on Foxtel.

After 10 years of spotlight with his show Rove Live, Rove McManus and his wife Tasma Walton moved to Los Angeles so that he could pursue a career in the US.

It looks like his efforts have paid off with the revelation of this big news and Rove landing his dream job as a roving reporter on one of the biggest shows.

This move makes his return to Australia unlikely, and cementing his career in the US.

In January, the talk show host had signed a deal with Foxtel to produce a Los Angeles-based chat show Rove LA kicking off his American TV dream.
