This past weekend, at California’s biggest music festival, Emma Watson debuted a new romance.

The 22-year-old actress was spotted kissing and cuddling with a new bloke at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.

After splitting from her ex, actor Johnny Simmons, Watson spent little time alone before landing her new beau, Will Adamowicz. Believed to be an American postgraduate student, Adamowicz met the actress in Oxford six months ago and the two have reportedly been dating since then.

Friends say the two are off to a happy start: “They’re very much in love. He’s very romantic and often surprises her with flowers, gifts and little love notes with Byron poetry or romantic quips. She’s smitten.”

Watson broke up with Simmons, her Perks of Being a Wallflower co-star, last year after he refused to move to the UK as she enrolled in Oxford’s Worcester College for a year.
