Prince Harry To Live In America

Details have emerged of the training the 26-year-old prince, who is known as Captain Wales, will undergo in America during a two-month spell in the country for the Army Air Corps.

At the beginning of October he will arrive in El Centro, California, to take part in Exercise Crimson Eagle. The exercise is part of a course he has already started at his base in Suffolk, England, and is part of training which could see him return to Afghanistan.

Prince Harry will also spend time at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field in Arizona during the two-month stay in America.

The training has ben organised by Britain’s Ministry of Defence and is part of an Apache helicopter course which is thought to include environmental training, living firing and tactical exercises.

Once it has concluded Harry will return to the UK for further exercises before any possible deployment to Afghanistan.

A military source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper it was tradition for pilots to take a break in Las Vegas during their training.

The source said: "The course doesn't have much downtime – it's pretty intense. This is a chance for pilots to let their hair down, kick back and enjoy themselves.”
