A source revealed: "The readers just weren't into it. There was a lot of negative mail coming in after each column and there were too many off-limit subjects for her. They ran out of ideas."

However, this isn't the first time The Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister has suffered criticism for her writing career.

Pippa faced critique for previously abusing her connections when she signed a $1.5 million deal with publishing company, Viking Press in 2011.

However when the debut of her party planning book Celebration only sold a meager 18,000 copies, her publishing plans were soon shelved.

The 30-year-old's first piece for the newspaper was inspired by a newfound passion for boxing, which she called "a pure but pleasing agony."

She also wrote columns about flipping pancakes to cycling underwater, however with her royal connections she was limited on what she could write about.
