Karl Lagerfeld slams Pippa: "I don't like her face"

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa, 28, was thrust into the spotlight last year as the maid of honour at the royal wedding, where the world marveled at her impressive derriere.

Now, Chanel's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, 78, has said she should the 28-year-old should stick to showing her backside only.

In an interview with The Sun, Lagerfeld sang the praises of Pippa's sister, the glamorous Duchess of Cambridge, explaining that she is a perfect match for Prince William.

He said: "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy."

He added: "I like that kind of woman. I like romantic beauties."

Yet Lagerfeld did not have such kind words for Pippa. He said: "On the other hand, her sister struggles.

"I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."

It's not the first time Lagerfeld has raised eyebrows for his harsh criticism. He received backlash in February when he called Adele 'a little too fat'.
