Following her romantic Italian wedding to Hollywood star, George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin has officially changed her name to Amal Clooney, according to the website of her law firm, Doughty Street Chambers.

The site shared a stunning photo of the newlywed, along with her bio which now reads "Amal Clooney".

The 36-year-old British attorney and George, 53, tied the knot in a lavish weekend-long affair in Venice, Italy, beginning September 27.

Following their nuptials, the newlyweds opted for a low-key honeymoon, spending it in their new home in the remote British countryside a source told Us Weekly.

"They wanted a simple break. Just somewhere to enjoy time together with no interruptions."

However, the human rights barrister has now resumed her duties and was spotted arriving in Athens, Greece for a new case to help the country retrieve the famous Elgin Marbles.

Meanwhile the Gravity actor has also returned to work, making a guest appearance at Comic Con to promote his latest film, Tomorrowland.
