Ricky's hell: Brax comes back


It can’t get much worse for Ricky – not only has Nate called off their engagement, but now her baby’s life is on the line.

This week on Home And Away, the single mum heads off to track down Brax (played by Steve Peacocke) who’d been presumed dead – until now.

Leaving baby Casey in Josh’s (Jackson Gallagher) not-so-capable hands, a distraught Ricky arrives home from her search to find her son suffering a seizure.

Fortunately for Ricky, her former fiance Dr Nate Cooper is on hand and diagnoses Casey with viral meningitis, catching it just in time to save his life.

‘It’s very difficult for him, because he’s in the position where he’s torn between the personal and the professional,’ says Kyle Pryor, who plays Nate.

‘But in these situations, he puts on a brave face and deals with it. Also, he understands that Ricky is going through the wringer at the moment.’

Unfortunately, the heartache only gets worse for Ricky as she worries about the decision she has to make between Brax and Nate.

'Ricky and Brax do have an incredible bond and undying love, but she may have to turn away from that to give Casey the best possible future,’ Bonnie laments.
