Celebrities Rally Behind President Obama To End Gun Violence

Celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Amy Schumer, Sofia Vergara, Julianne Moore, Michael J. Fox and President Obama have thrown their support behind a new campaign by Everytown for Gun Safety to end gun violence.

Just one week after the tragedy in San Bernardino, the new video campaign calls for stricter gun control legislation to prevent further violence.

"Thoughts and prayers alone from lawmakers aren't enough: we demand stronger gun laws to protect our children, families and communities," says Shannon Watts, who founded Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America which works with Everytown for Gun Safety. "In 2016, we will use our voices and votes to make gun safety a make-or-break issue for political candidates."

In a message on their website, Everytown for Gun Safety calls for viewers to upload their own messages of support and lend their voice to the campaign.

"Every action, no matter how small, helps us build safer communities and a brighter future. Together, we can end gun violence."
