The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly set to use the services of a personal shopper at both Harvey Nicols and Selfridges in the lead-up to her North American tour. With the help of these iconic UK retailers, Middleton will mix her existing high street wardrobe with a number of luxury designer items.

"It's the way most members of the Royal Family tend to do their shopping," explained a senior staff member at Buckingham Palace.

Despite the reveal, Middleton remains adamant that she will never employ a permanent personal stylist.

"The Duchess is aware that people are struggling in the current economic climate," reported the Daily Mail.

In addition, Middleton also appears to have signed private agreements with several designers including Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who was responsible for designing Middleton's wedding dress.
