Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has reportedly donated over 100 pairs of shoes to charity – but it wasn’t just out of the goodness of her heart.

Kardashian’s current squeeze, Kanye West, was filmed rummaging through her closet and throwing half of it out during an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

After referring to her style as “ghetto,” West voiced his approval for her new closet, saying, “[You're] getting on best dressed lists now. You're stepping into this territory. You look amazing - it's a new Kim!”

But fans are questioning West’s motives, with one tweeting, “Kim Kardashian will never love Kanye West, as much as Kanye West loves Kanye West.”

Jezebel.com added, “It's like (Kanye’s) treating his girlfriend—who is purportedly a fashionable person in her own right, who has worked as a celebrity stylist, owns her own clothing line and boutique and designs her own line of jewelry—as his personal Barbie Doll.”

But Kim remained unphased by Kanye’s “help,” tweeting, “the clothes I got rid of will be up on EBay next month for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church.”

Kardashian isn’t the only celebrity to openly admit her partner helps her out when it comes to picking outfits – Mrs Timberlake, aka Jessica Biel, told Instyle US that Justin has better taste than she does.

“I have no say whatsoever,” confessed Biel. “I don't micromanage. He is fearless in his choices and has a real eye for design. And I'll be honest: He has better taste than I do.”

Would you ever let your partner dress you or do you think it's overstepping the line?

Why not as long as I have my say as well. And if he is paying it, it is even better. It will be nice to shop with the man you love and be spoil..

To be quite honest, I have no sense of FASHION, and I don't care to have one either and I would really frown upon anyone who attempted to do a fashion do-over on me. Not only that but I detest Fashionistas and what they stand for (Anorexia, Bulimia, poor self-esteem etc). To my mind fashion does not make a positive contribution to society in one iota, and creepy little upstarts like Karl Lagerfeld and Alex Perry need some serious treatment with a dozen cans of Glen 20 to hose down their pathetically large EGOS.

Fancy Jezebel trying to makes this a gender issue, but as if there aren't millions of men in Aus who's wives and partners aren't always trying to change their style and stop them looking "daggy". I guarantee more women control what their partners were than the other way around.

Seems like we are now getting back Work Choices based on a lie.
