Roland Mouret showed a collection at The Westin this morning where red continued as one of the strongest colours of the season. Here’s a picture I snapped mid-show.

Next, it was on to see Louboutin, which was gorgeous, and then Ann Demeulemeester, where - in an otherwise dark, dreamy collection - a flash of red (again) played a key role.

At Dior, the mood was more youthful and sexier than usual. Staged in a clear, walled space with a pink runway, it was attended by the likes of Lorde. That night we went to the Dior after-party at Le Bain (I know, but someone’s got to do it …). It was a great night - lots of fun ‘80s music and dancing.

Ellery presented today at the magnificent Kenzo house, where looks were displayed on models but also throughout the garden. Lots of fellow Australians turned up for support - Christopher Esber, Michael Lo Sordo and Cheyenne Tozzi.

Later today, Martin Grant's salon show was sophisticated as always with beautiful tailoring. I especially loved the swing coats and perfectly cut evening jumpsuits.

I loved the Erdem collection, which, up close, was very pretty. The British designer’s muse this season was a slightly mad aristocrat, and the collection was all gorgeous jacquards and tweeds with raw edges, teamed with riding boots by Nicholas Kirkwood.

My new fashion crush is Italian-born, London-based designer Alessandra Rich. Her collection was as sophisticated as it is youthful - and very glamorous… not unlike the designer herself who was draped in a black kaftan with gold pinstripes.

As well as the shows, I discovered a great place to eat (thanks to a recommendation from our friends at Stella McCartney) called Nanashi, which does modern, healthy bento box salads. We also squeezed in the Lanvin exhibition, which celebrates 150 years of the fashion house as well as the re-opening of the Picasso museum which was incredible.
