Yahoo Lifestyle Jenna Lyons' Crazy Fetish
We have loved J Crew Creative Director Jenna Lyons' so cool-it-nearly-hurts style for a while now, and today we have another reason to be enamoured with the bespectacled designer.
Vanity Fair has gone behind the scenes at Lyons' New York office, revealing, (aside from the fact that she's hangs with the Obamas, not that surprising given FLOTUS frequently rocks at least one fab piece from the J. Crew catalogue) that the style impresario has a strange and wonderful fetish for chairs.
That's right, chairs. Lyons' office is full of them, from mid-century wooden numbers to a metal folding chair from NASA and a Perspex-backed armchair on brass wheels (gorgeous, but perhaps not that functional). While the normal office might contain two, maybe three chairs at a stretch, Lyons' has filled her spacious office in J. Crew's Greenwich Village HQ with - by our count - 7 of them. Who knew Lyons was such a fan of seating design?
