According to the data, holidays represent a high-risk period for a break up, with two weeks before Christmas officially the most popular time to dump a significant other. While most people refrain from breaking up on Christmas Day, it seems other special occasions such as Valentine's Day don't always go as planned, with a high number of Facebook users reportedly ending their relationship on the most romantic day of the year.
In addition, the data also revealed that Mondays appear to be the most popular day for a break up, giving the term "Monday-itis" a whole new meaning.
Do you agree with the patterns in this data? Have you recently changed your relationship status on Facebook?

Facebook is a blight on Australian Society and our fantastic way of life. The sooner it's gone the better and that goes for Twitter too.
Replyfacebook would be great if they get off their high horse and let a person get back their ID - mine has been stolen and face book executive see fit to determine that I am a phishing scam not real so they lock my facebook up together with my two associated email addys- meanwhile i lose friends and photos because of their stupidity
