Jesinta Campbell: Miss Congeniality

Although Australia’s Jesinta Campbell narrowly missed out on the Miss Universe crown today, she has been awarded the coveted title of Miss Congeniality.

Described by marie claire Editor Jackie Frank as "a real girl next door who will win the hearts of Australia", Campbell remained a firm favourite with both the bookmakers' and the Las Vegas crowd throughout the competition.

Campbell made it into the top three and her second runner-up title placed her just behind Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillipps, and winner, Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete, who takes over from Miss Universe 2009, Venezuela’s Stefania Fernandez.
