Angelina Jolie: Brad Changed My Life

"He's taught me to be more patient and to enjoy everything that we have," the Salt actress tells the March issue of marie claire.

The biggest change after they started their relationship in 2005, however, was her new desire to have children of her own.

"When I met him...I didn't want to get pregnant," she reveals. "I always wanted to adopt, but I never had the desire of experiencing biological motherhood."

Now, as parents to Shiloh, 3, twins Vivienne and Knox, 18 months, and adopted children Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5, the Hollywood power couple want to share their other passion - humanitarian projects - as a family. The couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation recently donated $US1 million to Médecins Sans Frontiéres in the wake of the Haiti earthquake.

Through setting up homes around the world and creating socially responsible projects in their names, "I want to raise my children correctly and help them to understand the inequality that exists in the world," Jolie says.
