New Study Reveals Women Hit Their Peak At 35
Despite the common belief that it doesn’t get much better than youth, a new study has revealed 35 is actually the golden age for most women.
According to research by fashion company CC, women feel “most confident” in their mid-thirties, particularly in terms of their personal style and image.

“There is an assumption that your looks and sense of style are at their peak in your late teens and early twenties, but this research shows that it can take a while before you find a style and image that suits,” a spokesperson for CC said.
In addition, The Daily Mail reported that "one in three women grow more comfortable with their appearance the older they get, while three out of four think their style has improved over the years.”
Interestingly, 1 in 20 respondents named 56 their favourite age, leading CC to conclude that with age comes the confidence to pull off more daring styles.
“Confidence, knowledge and wisdom are crucial when it comes to looking good, you can have all the latest trends and must have fashion items but if you don’t have the confidence to carry it off the whole look is wasted.”
Australian Women "Too Busy" For Their Friends
In terms of lifestyle, it seems 34 is the age when most women seem to have all aspects of their life in line.
“Only then is that elusive, all-important work/life balance finally achieved”, says the survey, adding that the insecurities and unfounded fears we harbour in our youth "may not be worth the worry we assign to them, after all".
