Louis Tomlinson’s sister’s death the latest in a string of tragedies
The sudden death of his 18-year-old sister Félicité on Wednesday is sadly the latest tragedy to strike One Direction star Louis Tomlinson’s life.
The 27-year-old British singer, who is “devastated and distraught” after his younger sibling suffered a fatal cardiac arrest, also lost his mother Johannah in 2016 after she lost her battle with leukaemia at age 43.
Three days after his mother’s tragic death, Louis took to the stage at the 2016 X Factor final to fulfill his mother’s dying wish – performing his first solo track.
Just over a year later Louis’ biological father Troy Austin was diagnosed with cancer, before undergoing a life-saving operation to remove a 1.5inch tumour from his liver in May 2018.
Louis’ parents split in 1997 when he was five, and he’s been estranged from his biological dad.
He has four half-sisters from his mother’s marriage to Mark Tomlinson – Charlotte, Félicité, and twins Daisy and Phoebe. He also has half-siblings, Doris and Ernest, from his mother’s subsequent marriage to Daniel Deakin, along with a half-sister Georgia from his father’s second marriage.
Louis uses the surname Tomlinson from his stepfather, who he considers as his real dad.
The One Direction star is a father himself, sharing three-year-old son Freddie Reign with Briana Jungwirth.
On Wednesday Louis’ younger sister Félicité collapsed after a suspected heart attack at her West London apartment, and was found dead at the scene when emergency services arrived and tried to resuscitate, reports The Sun.
The cause of the death is “unexplained” at this stage, but a post-mortem examination and toxicology tests are to take place.
“Louis is obviously distraught at the loss of his sister,” a source told the publication.

“He has cancelled all promo, which includes his performance on Comic Relief.”
The singer was scheduled to perform his new song, Two Of Us, which in a tragic twist is a tribute to his late mother.
In October Félicité revealed she was suffering from sciatica, which causes pain due to pressure on nerves in the lower back.
Yahoo Lifestyle has contacted Louis’ representatives for comment.
