How Zendaya and Tom Holland Feel About Having Kids Amid Their Engagement
The 'Spider-Man' actor is "very focused on building a family" right now.
As Zendaya and Tom Holland bask in the afterglow of their recent engagement, they’re also taking time to figure out what their future will look like as a married couple. While Tomdaya have yet to publicly share a date for their wedding, they’ve reportedly already talked about having children–and according to a source, they’re in agreement about starting a family together.
It’s no secret Holland has fatherhood on his mind as he recently shared his plans to put acting on hold once he becomes a dad. However, a source told Us Weekly that the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor is eager to take this next step–and Zendaya feels the same way.
“Tom really wants to have a family, and [he] and Zendaya are on the same page about having kids and wanting to start a family together,” a source told the publication.
This might happen sooner rather than later, as the source explained, “Tom is [a] very old-school English guy in the way that he wants to have a family and have kids relatively young.” They added that he’s “absolutely in love with her” and “very focused on building a family and his career” right now.
Unfortunately, this might mean that fans will be seeing less of the British actor on screen, as he recently told Men’s Health, “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
While fans might not be ready to see the end of Holland’s acting career anytime soon, the couple is on cloud nine about taking the next step in their relationship–as well as fan reactions to their engagement news after Zendaya soft-launched her diamond ring at the Golden Globe awards.
“Tom wanted to propose because he feels he is at the right time in his life and feels ready to settle down,” a source previously told Us Weekly about the actor’s decision to pop the question in a “low-key” proposal.
“They had many conversations over the years, but there was never any pressure. Zendaya is giddy and excited. She knew it might have been coming but never put pressure on it.”
