Zendaya’s Glorious Gold Louis Vuitton Set Is Bringing Back the Drop Waist

The only thing better than getting one Zendaya red-carpet look in a day is getting two.

Hours after she made headlines for wearing a fresh-off-the-runway outfit, the Dune star returned to the red carpet to deliver yet another fashion statement today in Paris, swapping Maison Alaïa’s viral 3-D printed corkscrew dress for a custom set from Louis Vuitton.

The ensemble consisted of an ab-baring top with a massive hooded scarf, which shrouded her neck, and a voluminous ball-gown skirt cinched at the center by a drop-waist silhouette. Both pieces were made out of the same glittering gold fabric, which featured a crinkled rose-shaped texture throughout.

She continued to go for the gold with her array of vintage Bulgari accessories, from a gold Serpenti wraparound bracelet to a pair of diamond-encrusted earrings.

Given her ambassadorships for both brands, we’ll likely see a lot more of Zendaya in both Louis Vuitton and Bulgari as the Dune: Part Two press tour continues.

Earlier today, Zendaya’s photo call was in front of the Eiffel Tower, where she was accompanied by costars Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler.

In contrast to her gloriously gold Louis Vuitton look, she took a more minimalist route, wearing Alaïa’s La Robe Spirale, an ivory wool dress with a corkscrew-shaped bodice that wrapped itself around her torso. The piece also featured an asymmetrical high-low skirt with a thigh-high leg slit on one side, which showed off her matching white pumps underneath.
