Perks of working on the Eras Tour? Other than getting to know Taylor Swift, being part of every single one of her 149 shows, and dressing up as an Elf at work? The fact that you get treated to the most massive holiday bonus ever.

People reports that Taylor gave her crew—including "truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team"—bonuses totaling $197 million over the past two years of the Eras Tour. Obviously, this is a huge amount of money, but keep in mind that the Eras Tour made a record breaking $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales.

As a reminder, Taylor made headlines for giving her truck drivers bonuses of $100,000 each back in 2023, when she completed the U.S. leg of her world tour. The founder of the trucking company that handled Taylor's tour told CNN “The typical amount is $5,000 to $10,000 each. So this large amount is unbelievable... These men and women, they live on the road. They sleep during the day and work all night. It’s a grueling task. They leave their families, young children for weeks. For Taylor’s tour, they’ve been away from home for 24 weeks.”

He also gave some insight into how Taylor hands out bonuses, saying her dad Scott Swift met with the trucking team as a surprise: “Scott gave a speech saying that he had discussed this with Taylor and they thought that it was only right that everybody received a bonus. Taylor insisted on writing a handwritten note to each driver and [added] a wax seal on the envelope with her monogram. The drivers didn’t want to be overly rude and look at it. But one looked and thought it said $1,000, another driver saw it as $10,000 and then the third said ‘Well this has to be a joke!’”

Welp. I'll give you a moment to process / rue the day you didn't get yourself hired on this tour.
