Some of Lewis's co-stars wished they got to spend more time working with her on the show. “I only got one [scene]. I only got to be in one very sad scene,” says Sarah Desjardins, who plays Shauna's daughter, Callie, on the show. “She’s a one of a kind."

Despite having not filmed with her, Warren Kole (Jeff) praises the way Lewis lifted the atmosphere on set. “She brought such a beautiful energy to the show. You could feel her absence.”

As for whether he thinks his character might meet his end on the series, Kole shares, “I think I’ve been ripe every time I pick up a script. Low hanging fruit." (Meantime, Desjardins has a worse fear than her character dying. "Just don’t send Callie off to college," she says.)
