The Product of the Year awards results are in and Cole and Woolworths have swept the board with them.
This year, over 5000 Aussie shoppers voted for their favourite grocery and supermarket products. There are 37 winners, and it's clear that consumers are after easy-to-grab snacks and food, as well as indulgent products that make them feel good about themselves.
Here's a round up of some of the products to make the list this year:
This Woolworths-own moisturiser smells amazing. It's made from a combination of essential oils, which are designed to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Ninety-nine percent of the ingredients are naturally derived, mainly sourced from seeds, fruits and plants. It looks good in your bathroom cabinet too.
This is designed to exfoliate dry, dead skin, and remove peach fuzz. It instantly reveals smoother, more radiant skin, and is specially designed with a safety guard to help prevent nicks and cuts. It has a built-in LED light too, so you never miss a spot. It's easy to hold and is made with professional-grade Japanese stainless steel.
This men's razor is designed with a low environmental impact in mind. It has a natural bamboo handle, un-chromed metal components and comes in recycled packaging. It also has five tempered-steel blades, a lubricating strip with aloe, and a precision trimmer and pivoting design.
This Aussie start-up is known for its sustainable approach to furniture - and its extremely comfy beds and sofas. The Calm As Mattress has a double-sided comfort layer that gives you the choice between medium-firm support and firm support, and is made from a moisture wicking fabric.
The Cushy Sofa Bed moves from a sofa to a bed in seconds. It has soft, pillowy cushions, is filled with environmentally friendly foam, and looks great too.
There's a complete range of our Macro Whole Living cleaning products, but this one smells particularly good. It's been independently certified by GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) meaning it's better for the environment, has a lower impact on human health and has been ethically made.
Any parents knows that finding the perfect nappy is essential - and consumers believe these are some of the best out there. They have a super soft breathable inner lining, and up to 12 hours absorbency with triple layer technology. They also have a wetness indicator and a super absorbent core.
Food and drink
This has been credited as tasting like the real thing, even though it's non-alcoholic. It has the classic G&T flavours of citrus, juniper and highly refreshing tonic, but without the gin.
From an Aussie start-up who's made it big, these icy poles are gluten-free, with no added sugar, and packed with the best Australian ingredients. Great for kids - big and little.
A creamy dairy-free yoghurt, this is made from coconut milk. It's thick, delicious and feels super indulgent.
These are a convenient way to add some spice to your cooking. Simply put chicken or veggies in the pre-provided bag, add the spice, shake it, and pop the bag in the oven for 30 minutes. Too easy.
