You won't believe what these kids clothes are made from

We’ve seen plenty of ways parents are trying to save money when it comes to buying their kids clothes, but this new hack from a savvy group of mums definitely takes the cake.

Women have been sharing their creations using $3 Kmart tea towels, which they have transformed into adorable kids clothes.

From skirts to cute dresses, all you need is some sewing machine know-how and you could have yourself a whole new wardrobe.

Whipped up a skirt for my almost 2 year old this afternoon using one of the tea towels I purchased recently,” one mum wrote, sharing an image on Facebook.

“Could easily have made two from the one tea towel. Not bad for $3.”

Kmart tea towel hack. Finished in time for carols tonight,” another mum said, sharing an image of her little girl wearing a pink dress, made using two of the Christmas print tea towels from Kmart.

People were in love with the creations with many praising the mums for their creativity.

“So easy and cheap,” wrote one person.

“You would never have guessed that was a tea towel. Good job,” another said.

And it’s not just tea towels getting repurposed either.

Another mum took to Facebook to show off a stunning photo back drop she created for her daughter’s first birthday, using Kmart tablecloths.

“Just wanted to share an amazing backdrop hack I found on Pinterest, using plastic Kmart tablecloths,” she wrote. “It was super easy to do and was amazing for photos.”

And people loved that idea as well.

“Love all the photos. You did a great job. Outstanding,” one person wrote.
