Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson has had his own fairytale wedding over the weekend as he tied the knot with nutritionist Tracey Kurland, the daughter of a multi-millionaire banker.
However, unlike Meghan and Harry’s lavish wedding of the year, the 41-year-old film producer and his new wife had a very small and intimate ceremony held at a private home in Hidden Hills, California where Tracey’s parents Stanford and Sheila Kurland are based.
Tracey’s father Stanford, is said to be worth $200 million thanks to his role as the second-most senior executive at Countrywide mortgage lender.
He also contributed to the start-up of another mortgage lender, PennyMac where he worked as CEO up until 2016.
Trevor had popped the question to Tracey at the Napa Valley back in June – only two weeks after Meghan’s royal wedding – and captioned his Instagram announcement, “Luckiest guy I know…Get ready to party!”
The bride wore an off-the-shoulder white dress, while the groom donned a grey suit with a pink shirt and no tie.
The pair’s wedding reception was reportedly Mexican themed with paper banners hanging across a swimming pool and a tequila bar on the side for guests, according to the DailyMailTV.
“The wedding seemed like a small, casual but intimate affair – a world away from Meghan’s huge marriage to Harry in England,” one guest told the publication.
“The bride and groom looked so much in love and very happy together. The whole event was so them.”
Trevor initially married Meghan Markle in 2011 after the pair met in 2004 at university before she became famous on suits.
Their relaxed wedding took place in Ocho Rios, Jamaica where the couple married barefoot on the beach with over 100 friends and family members in attendance.
