The Wiggles stars Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie have announced they are parting ways.
The couple admitted in a joint statement to The Daily Telegraph they have been “navigating through a trial separation” for the last six months.
They added that throughout their separation performing shows together has been a “source of joy” and embracing their split as “a very positive change in [their] relationship”.
In addition, they insisted “first and foremost [they] love and adore performing as Emma and Lachy in The Wiggles”.
Emma also took to her Instagram to post the full statement, sharing a photo of herself and Lachlan.
Of course, many reacted on social media to the shock news.

Emma and Lachlan tied the knot two years ago in April 2016 in Bowral, New South Wales.
Earlier this year Emma was forced to pull out of the group’s tour because of her battle with endometriosis.
The 28-year-old — who is the yellow Wiggle in the children’s entertainment group — revealed she needs surgery to treat the chronic illness as she has been suffering with a “lot of pain” the last few years.
“I have been in a lot of pain for the past couple of years,” she told The Daily Telegraph at the time, admitting the decision to have treatment had been “difficult”.
Endometriosis is a condition that affects the lining of the uterus, causing it to grow outside the womb and trigger painful complications as well as infertility.
