Megan Fox is thankful for the co-parenting support she receives from ex Brian Austin Green and his wife Sharna Burgess as she navigates her split from ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.

A source tells PEOPLE that Fox, 38, who is currently pregnant with her third baby, her first with Kelly, 34, is in a great place with Burgess, 39, and Green, 51, with whom she shares her three sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Fox and Kelly, who got engaged in January 2022, called it quits at the end of November, not long after announcing their baby on the way.

"She's been so happy about being pregnant," the source shares. "She's in a good place with both Brian and Sharna. She gets along really well with Sharna. Megan trusts her around the boys."

"Brian's a great dad, too. Megan feels fortunate that her boys are loved and always taken care of," they add.

In November, Fox first announced that she is expecting her first baby with Kelly, born Colson Baker. The actress cradled her baby bump while covered in black liquid in an Instagram post, and in another snap, she held up a positive pregnancy test to the camera.

"Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back 👼🏼❤️," she captioned the post, using song lyrics from Kelly's track "last november," a song about his and Fox's past pregnancy loss.

This past April, Green commented on how he co-parents his three sons with Fox, sharing his top tips with E! News.

"The number one [tip] is always make sure that everything is centered around the experience of the kids," Green told the outlet of parenting with Fox at Steel City Comic Con.

"People make a mistake of thinking that they're gonna do things so the separation doesn't affect the kids, and that's—of course, it's gonna affect the kids," he added. "The only choice you have is how it affects the kids."

While appearing on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast in September 2023, Green and Burgess opened up about their relationship with Fox.

"I certainly didn't feel like, 'Everything must go!' It's like no, we'll do it as we do it as we build our life," Burgess said of having items from Fox, including a frame, in her house with Green. "But I love that frame and I love what it says, and it came from Tracy [Green's manager], who I also love deeply. She's family to us."

"And I agree with Brian, I think that thread still connects [him and Fox] but I think there are also many threads that connect all of us and the people that come in and out of your life, so it rings true and it's very important."

"And [Megan's] very much a part of our life, and we'll always be connected because of the kids. So we are all family. So there's no bad feelings there to be like that cannot be in this house," Burgess revealed.

"Megan is in our home," Green said. "She'll come sometimes when she's dropping off or picking up the kids and she'll come in."

"And hang for a little bit," Burgess added.

"And she'll be holding [our son] Zane and it's like, we are one big family," Green told Kramer. "You know, family defines itself obviously in different ways."

"But with her, we do share so much and she now shares so much with Sharna, and they have an amazing connection and friendship and mutual respect and love for each other because of that."
