Country music fans might be surprised to find that Jelly Roll didn't attend this year's Grammy Awards. After all, the country music singer has been a mainstay at recent awards show, and viewers have grown to count on him for powerful speeches and bring-the-house-down performances.

This year, he received two nominations, Best Solo Country Performance and Best Country Song, both for "I'm Not Okay." Jelly Roll didn't win either award at the pre-show event, and he wasn't in attendance at the February 2 ceremony.

Jelly Roll hasn't given any comment on his whereabouts, but on January 30 he attended the FIREAID concert. On February 1, he hosted a Jelly Roll & Friends benefit concert for first responders at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The crowd was filled with 16,000 emergency personnel, including incarcerated firefighters. The concert featured appearances by Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, Shinedown, Marshmello, and Public Enemy.

Ahead of the show, stylist Krista Roser told Yahoo! Entertainment that she was preparing Jelly Roll's look and incorporating fan letters into his outfit. She said of the recent fires in L.A., "I don't think it's a time to be flashy. I don't think it's a time to make a fashion statement. I think it's a time to reflect [and] be respectful of what's going on, and if you're going to make that statement, make [it] be a positive note on what's going on in the world."

Jelly Roll was not scheduled to present or perform. So far, there's been no sign of him on the red carpet or in the crowd, but we're keeping our eye out!
