Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom Split

Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom announced they have 'amicably' ended their three-year marriage

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have split up.

The A-list couple - who have son, Flynn, 2, together - have announced they have "amicably" ended their three-year marriage, but will continue to support each other in raising their child.

"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the past few months," a statement released by Bloom's representative reads. "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation."

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

The Pirates of the Caribbean star began dating Victoria's Secret beauty Kerr, 30, in 2007.

The couple tied the knot three years later in July 2010 and welcomed their son in January 2011.

Miranda and Orlando, 36, were last spotted together in late September when she supported him at the opening night of a new Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, in which he plays Romeo.

News of a split comes just weeks after Bloom gushed about her estranged husband's stage presence in the play.

She said: "When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away, For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week - I have so much respect for him."

It's not the first time that rumours of a split have rocked the relationship, however. In December, a source close to the couple told WHO there was "no truth" to a US report the couple had "drifted apart," insisting they were "happier than ever."
