Amanda Bynes Is Engaged: Report

After months of life outside of the spotlight, Amanda Bynes’ erratic behavior is back in the headlines following a surprise DUI arrest on September 28 in Los Angeles.

Since then, Bynes has resurfaced in NYC - sporting some new jewellery, and touting some even bigger news: She's engaged.

“I am very needy for friendship and I hate men,” Bynes, who is currently living in New York City away from her parents, told US magazine, In Touch on Sunday. “I want to f— them, but I can now say I’m engaged — get away from me. I want to be married and I want to be away from people.”

Bynes, who was under her parents’ legal conservatorship for several months in 2013, will reportedly wed a 19-year-old named Caleb from Costa Mesa, California.

She told In Touch that the couple hopes to settle down in New York instead of her native Southern California, because “I really do not enjoy driving. I don’t like the way I look in a car. The lighting is very bad.”

The former actress, who until recently was studying fashion design at L.A.’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, also said she wants to have children.

“I want boys, for sure,” she said. “However many I can pop out. I don’t want a gorgeous girl around. Then I [would] feel way jealous. Ew.”

No word on when the nuptials might be, though she did say that they would take place at the London hotel in Los Angeles.

“I honestly would rather not [design my dress], but I’m so particular about how I look that I cannot imagine not designing it,” she concluded.
