Kate Ritchie: Meet Baby Mae!

Kate Ritchie graces the cover of this week's WHO - on sale today!

She grew up in the limelight, but for the past five weeks, former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie has been relishing time spent at home with her newly minted family of three.

In a WHO exclusive, the proud new mum, 36, and her husband, former NRL player Stuart Webb, 34, have posed for their first family photo shoot with their 5-week-old daughter, Mae.

"I know I'm biased, but I'm really proud," a blissful Ritchie, tells WHO from the comfort of her home on Sydney's northern beaches, where Mae plays a starring role.

"She's just so beautiful."

Since Mae's arrival on Aug. 17, it's been an emotional time for the Nova radio presenter, who enjoyed a smooth pregnancy, and decorated the nursery in neutrals because she didn't know if she was having a boy or a girl.

Bringing her firstborn home, "There were a few tears. I think I sobbed for a week, in a good way! Stuart kept saying, 'What's wrong?' I just kept saying, 'I'm so happy,'" says the star, who plans to return to the airwaves on October 6, seven weeks after giving birth.

Adds Ritchie, "I was overwhelmed by how emotional and amazing it was."
