LIVING STEVE IRWIN'S LEGACY
Eight years after the death of Steve Irwin, his family are getting on with the job he started. In an exclusive interview on Cape York, WHO takes you inside one of the world's most famous families as Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin continue Steve's crusade: catching crocodiles as part of Australia Zoo's world-renowned research. "I definitely want to continue where Dad left off," says 10-year-old Robert, who is in Year 7, two years ahead of his age group. "To follow in my dad's footsteps especially is really amazing." In the interview, Terri, 50, reveals she only recently removed Steve's clothes from their bedroom wardrobe, while Bindi, 16, says the countless hours of TV footage of her father has helped her deal with her loss. "Losing Dad was just unbelievable," she says, "but it's a positive that we can look back and remember."
