Where the kids from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are now
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a cult holiday film that is still hugely popular today despite it being released in 1989.
The movie is centred around the Griswold family, with patriarch Clark, played by Chevy Chase, determined to use his Christmas bonus to give his family a memorable Christmas. But as luck has it, things don't always go his way.
The child actors who starred in the film as the Griswold children – Johnny Galecki, who took on the role of Rusty, and Juliette Lewis, who played Audrey – have both gone on to have successful careers since the Christmas classic.

Where is Johnny Galecki now?
Johnny was just 14 when he starred in the slapstick holiday movie, and he is now best known for his major role as Leonard Hofstadter in the popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
The 47-year-old starred in a number of hit films before his role in the sitcom, including I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997 and Vanilla Sky in 2001.
His success however came when he landed his major role in The Big Bang Theory from 2007 to 2019.
ENews reports during his time on the sitcom he became one of the highest-paid TV actors, earning a salary of $1 million per episode by the time the series ended in 2019.
That same year, Johnny welcomed his first child with girlfriend Alainna Meyer. However, they announced their split in 2020.
Where is Juliette Lewis now?
Juliette was 15 years old when she played the role of Audrey in the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The daughter of character actor Geoffrey Lewis then went on to appear in a remake of Cape Fear in 1991, which led to her being nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Golden Globe.
In 1993, she starred alongside A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp in What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
The 48-year-old reportedly practised Scientology in the 90s but distanced herself from the religion in an interview with The New York Times in 2021.
Juliette also gained attention when she started dating high-profile actor Brad Pitt when she was just 17, however they broke up in 1993 after three years together.
The HuffPost reports she entered rebab when she was in her 20s to help her deal with her use of painkillers and cocaine.
Most recently Juliette appeared in six episodes of Queer As Folk as well as starring as the adult counterpart of the character Natalie Scatorccio on TV series Yellowjackets.
