Hailee Steinfeld Shared Why She Keeps Her Relationship With Josh Allen Out Of The Public Eye, And They're Too Sweet

Hailee Steinfeld shared why she chooses to keep her relationship with Josh Allen private, and they’re seriously too cute.

ICYMI, Hailee announced her engagement to the Buffalo Bills’ star quarterback in November 2024. While the two were first linked back in early 2023, the news was pretty unexpected — given that the stars have kept their relationship super private for years.

But in early February, Hailee and Josh made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors Awards Show, where Josh was named MVP — and gave his fiancée the sweetest shoutout during his speech.

"And last, but not least, my fiancée, Hailee, who...you've been my rock,” Josh said onstage. “You are my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren't for you,” he added, as Hailee looked on with tears in her eyes.

Since their first official appearance together as an engaged couple, Hailee has spoken about the reasons why she and Josh have been reluctant to flaunt their romance over the years, telling Who What Wear in a new interview that their choice made their relationship feel “extra special.”

“When you realize that so much is already out there in every other aspect of your life, you really learn to cherish the little that isn’t,” the Marvel star shared. “It just makes things extra special, and it’s just for you,” she added.

Up until now, Hailee and Josh have only shared a couple of snaps on social media and through Hailee’s newsletter Beau Society. And while the private life certainly seems to be working for this pair, I've got high hopes that we might see the odd outing or two now that the NFL season has drawn to a close.
